Due to manual measurement variations and differing shank structures (such as comfort-fit interior profiles or pave diamond bands), an acceptable tolerance of approximately ±0.3mm to ±0.5mm may exist. The final fit depends on the actual physical piece.

Expert Ring Sizing Tips
 

1. Avoid the Common "Over-Sizing" Mistake:
In fine jewelry practice, customers measuring at home with paper strips or tape measures often end up selecting a size that is 1 to 2 sizes too large because the measuring strip is left too loose. Ensure the strip wraps snugly around your finger without pinching the skin.
 

2. How to Measure Larger Knuckles:
If your finger knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, always measure both the widest part of your knuckle and the base of your finger. Choose a size that can comfortably slide over the knuckle, or calculate the average between the two measurements.
 

3. Impact of Ring Band Width:
Narrow bands (under 2.5mm) have minimal surface friction and fit true to size. For wide bands (4.0mm or above), increased surface contact creates more resistance, so we recommend ordering a half to one full size larger for optimal comfort.
 

4. Temperature & Time of Day:
Finger size fluctuates with temperature and blood circulation. We recommend measuring your fingers in the late afternoon at a comfortable room temperature, avoiding measurements immediately after waking up or when hands are cold.
